All about the Polar Express! Once aboard the Hannibal Trolley, passengers will hear the telling of the Polar Express by guest narrators, view the lights of historic downtown Hannibal, and children who believe may receive the first gift of Christmas.

Toddlers and infants who will ride on an adults lap are free. Admission is $5 for passenger seats.

Polar Express will depart promptly from Hannibal Trolley, 220 N. Main St., at scheduled ticket times. Please arrive prior to scheduled departure.

  • How long is the Polar Express?

    • Each tour is 30 minute session from boarding the Polar Express to disembarking.

  • What does the Polar Express consist of?

    • The Polar Express features local guest narrators reading the story, the Polar Express and a ride in the Hannibal Trolley through downtown Hannibal view Christmas lights of downtown.

  • Should we wear a coats, hat, gloves?

    • The trolleys have windows, but heat is limited. We advise any outerwear you or your family find necessary.

  • Where does the Polar Express depart from?

    • The Polar Express will depart from the Hannibal Trolley Depot at 220 N. Main St.

  • Who does this event benefit?

    • Any proceeds from the Polar Express and Hannibal Holiday Lights Tour benefit the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council, we are a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and beautify downtown Hannibal.
